Detention

Any student who violates the school's Code of Conduct or the school's rules and regulations will have points deducted from their conduct grade. In addition, the student may also be issued a detention. Any student who does not attend an assigned detention will be subject to disciplinary action.

This may include, but not limited to, suspension, referral to the Discipline Committee and/or the Discipline Review Board. Students who fail, or refuse, to serve an assigned detention will have five (5) points deducted from their conduct grade. In addition, they will be reassigned & and must serve & the original detention.

Any student who repeatedly refuses or fails to serve assigned detentions will be referred to the Disciplinarian for further action.

** Unless there is specific approval by the Disciplinarian, detentions will be served the same day that they are issued !

** Detention is automatic for the following infractions:

  • Late for school or any class
  • Unauthorized use of the elevators
  • Being referred to the C.R. room
** Students who are serving detention are not permitted to participate in extra-
curricular activities that day.
