PSSA Testing

Based on the PSSA Test a student must be proficient in mathematics, reading and writing. 

Proficiency will be met by one of the following three alternatives:

  • Proficient or Advanced rating in all areas of the 11th grade PSSA  (Mathematics, Reading, Writing).

OR

  • For any senior scoring at the basic or below basic level in any and all areas of 11th grade PSSA, attendance at Fall-After School Support Remediation (12 hours per area) is mandatory.
 

OR

  • For any senior still scoring at the basic or below basic level in any and all areas of the 12th grade PSSA Retest, attendance at Spring After-School Support Remediation (12 hours per area) is mandatory. Proficient rating on the Local Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (LASK) in all areas in which Proficiency on the PSSA or PSSA Retest has not been established.
